Sony REA-L0200 software license/upgrade Full

The REA-L0200 optional license activates the PTZ Auto Framing and PTZ Auto Tracking feature for the REA-C1000 Edge Analytics Appliance.

From firmware version v5.0, PTZ Auto Framing, which has evolved auto-tracking function dramatically, has been added to REA-L0200 in addition to the conventional PTZ Auto Tracking. Customers who are already using REA-L0200 can enjoy the PTZ Auto Framing functionality free of charge by simply updating the firmware.

Connected to a SONY PTZ camera, the newly added PTZ Auto Framing feature offers powerful AI-powered video analytics, which can automatically detect and track the position of a presenter within the camera frame. As the presenter moves, the camera’s pan/tilt/zoom mechanism ensures that the presenter is always framed naturally, without the need for a human camera operator to manually follow their movements. This offers a cost-effective tracking solution for a variety of applications including education, corporate, broadcast, sports and events.
